Tech Mahindra inaugurates innovation and technology development center in Oman – CRN

Tech Mahindra has inaugurated an Innovation and Technology Development Center, in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, which will serve the sectors of telecommunications, oil and gas, BFSI (banking, financial services and insurance), Energy & Utilities & Public Sector by leveraging Artificial Intelligence, Big Data & Analytics, Cloud and 5G technologies. This is in line with Tech Mahindra’s commitment to invest in the development and retraining of local Omani talent to undertake projects in Oman and around the world.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by HE Dr. Ali Al Shidhani, Undersecretary for Communications and Information Technology MTCIT, Mr. Amit Narang, Ambassador of India to the Sultanate of Oman, senior government officials of Oman, as well as senior executives from key companies in Oman and the Tech Mahindra management team led by its CEO and CEO, Mr. CP Gurnani.
