HELSINKI, January 18, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Picosun is participating as an industry partner in QuTI, a recently launched large research project aimed at developing new components, manufacturing and testing solutions needed for quantum technology. Quantum technology has attracted interest from a wide range of large-scale industries. The remarkable performance improvements it offers enable powerful computing and advantages in communications, healthcare, sensors, imaging and measurement applications, for example.
The QuTI project is coordinated by the VTT Technical Research Center of Finlandand it has a total budget of about 10 million euros. Other industry partners in the consortium include Bluefors, Afore, IQM, Rockley Photonics, CSC, Quantastica, Saab and Vexlum. Research partners are VTT, Aalto University and the University of Tampere.
